Disappears is a shoegaze, garage rock outfit that formed in 2008. After performing at South by Southwest in 2009 they have been gaining momentum ever since. After producing their second album Guider (2011) Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth decided to join the band and the quintet toured extensively through Europe and the U.S.

Now they're touring in support of the latest release Pre Language and their droning mysterious reverberated sound is hitting The Earl tonight. Deerhunter guitarist Lockett Pundt's latest project Lotus Plaza opens up, as does Mirror Mode. Show starts at 8:30. Tickets are $10.
